Artificial Reef

As part of the Artificial Reef Project carried out in the Gulf of Saros, we undertook the creation of an underwater history museum and the placement of historical artifacts on the seafloor. Within the project, we safely lowered a replica of the cannon used by Seyit Onbaşı in the Gallipoli Campaign, along with statues of Seyit Onbaşı and other soldiers, and placed them in designated reef areas. The artificial reefs keep historical and cultural heritage alive underwater while providing new habitats for marine life, supporting the region's marine ecosystem and biodiversity.
